Hey Niram and Niambi!

I look forward to your podcast…SERIOUSLY. Y’all don’t even know. I’ve been telling everyone about it. I appreciate the candor and honesty. It gives me a glimmer of hope for love, which brings me to my questions below.

I slid in your inbox today to pick your brains:

I am at a point where I’m starting to give up on love (in general). I’m young (mid-twenties) and I don’t have a ton of serious dating experience. A lot of immature situationships that never held because I didn’t experience chemistry with the person. There were also times where I had to do the self-work and it was great that I didn’t go forward with the situation. I still desire to be married somewhere down the line (even though I know in the back of my head that all women won’t be married).

What advice do you all have about picking a potential partner? What are you all’s thoughts about marriage? What are you all’s thoughts on celibacy in long term relationships? Do men feel the burden of doing the emotional work alongside their partners?

P.S. I used the phrase “touched by white hands” the other day to explain how mild the “hot wings” I received were and it had my sister dying laughing. I cited my sources and gave credit where it was due, lol.

P.P.S. I, too, have been touched by white hands. I got my graduate and undergraduate degrees from PWIs. I’m bringing my knowledge back to my people!

Thanks for reading!
